ABOUT US

The Association of the citizens the women's organization „Kewser“ was founded in April 1994 in Zenica as the non-governmental , non party and non profitable organization which in accordance with its mission helps women  and children in the field of education and up bringing in the spirit of the Islamic faith and culture. Present residence of the organization is in Sarajevo and our membership is extended to the entire Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad.

One of the main projects of „Kewser“ is publishing  a journal „Zehra“.

 Zehra is the journal for a family and society and it is published every two months. Considering the interest of our readers, the tendency is that „Zehra“ would become a monthly journal.

Within the Club of youth, a choir „Kewser“ was formed and it is comprised of seventeen girls, who work under the professional guidance.

Each year, „Kewser“ organizes a cultural entertaining manifesttaion „The Prophet's Musk“ on the occasion of birth of the Hazrat Fatima whom the Prophet Muhammad called „my musk“. The manifestation lasts about seven  days and it is comprised of three parts:

-Central religious-entertaining programme which in the last few years   is held in the Olympic hall of Zetra,

-Exhibitions of the manual and artistic works Golden hands of the Bosnian woman placed in the Kurshumlija madrasah and the hanikah of the Gazi Husrev bey madrasah and

-evenings of culture of various contents.

In the Association „Kewser“ various gatherings, excursions, programmes on the occasion of holidays  are held.

Once a week lecture from spirituality, philosophy, psychology, health, up bringing is held or  it is related  to some actual problem.

Within the organization a humanitarian section under the title „ Let us help those who need the help“  is active.  The section periodically has a smaller or larger results. On several occasions some aid was gathered for several socially imperilled members of our Association.There has been initiated the action of the scolarship for the high school pupils and the students.

Within all of this there exists a continual cooperation and contacts with the other associations and organizations in the country and abroad.

Salon for retaining of health and beauty

Within our organization  there is the salon for keeping health and beauty. All who wish have the occasion to use fully natural and healthy treatments for relaxation and healing on the basis of the phytotherapy, massage and aromatherapy.

THE KEWSER CHORUS

In November 2004, at the initative of the lady president of our Mrs Sadika Avdic the „Kewser“ chorus was formed. At the beginning the chorus numbered 19 girls and the technical manager was Edin Fazlic. In 2005 the first CD was published, which was recorded in the Mehr studio in Teheran, where the  music score was written too.Musical producer was Edin Fazlic, while the author of all texts was Sadika Avdic. The first promotion of this CD was at the central manifestation „The Prophet's musk“ 2005 in the hall of Zetra, where the audience, according to the additional reactions accepted it with enthusiasm.

  By the end of 2005, at our satisfaction, the chorus obtained a new technical manager, the soprano singer Lejla Jusic and Samra Bucan. By the middle of 2006,  a DVD was published with six  spots, while the four of those spots were for new nashids.Sadika Avdic wrote the texts of the new nashids, while Eldin Huseinbegovic, Al'Dino and Ragib Habibija wrote the music.

During its existence, the chorus performed all over BiH but also abroad. We take out the perfromance with the Sarajevo philharmonic orchestra, in the National theatre, Days of Ajvatovica, Mostar, Tuzla.....

In the preparation is the second CD of the Kewser chorus, which would soon , with God's help , saw the light of a day.

REVIEWS

The handful of ten poems written by Sadika Avdic- titled by one of the lines from the poem. Let me to Kewser- hold it earnestly as a whole, that which was lived through, deeply Islamic belief of this poetess, who carefully chose the content to which she focused in the logical sequence: from the prophet Muhammad and nazreti Hatidza, through most chosen among women, Fatima az Zehra and most authentic witness and a particular interpreter of the prophet’s phenomenon. Imam Medznun, in the sign of Leila’s discovery, all the present beloved, where love dominantly  surpasses love praised in verse towards the earthly beloved.

Apart from the presented contents, there remains the united poem let me to Kewser, which is defined by the sincere devotion to the Creator and  a humble conscience about vulnerability and despondency of an individual before this wordly challenges. About these chosen contents, Sadika Avdic  gives a poem in a simple and susceptible way, using most often heptameter.She praised in the poem about hazrati Zejneb, the fearless heroine, who decisively   and condemning stood up against  the oppressor  and the despot, raising the voice against the crime over the Prophet’s grand-son Husein and his loyal companions. The remaining poems talk about  the self-sacrificing Allah’s slave hazreti Jusuf, about  the  turning-point meeting of Sulejman and Belkisa, about Lejla and religious poetry, and somewhat  rare symmetric octosyllabic,  distributed  verse of the Bosnian verbal lyrics. The verses of the spiritual poems of Sadika Avdic  acquire the listeners by directness and  by the authentic  experience of the mentioned  tempting contents.

Prof. dr. Munib Maglajlic

I don’t know that anything managed to influence culture of the Bosniacs and maturing of their national and religious conscience as it is the case  with revitalizing of the nashids in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It began twenty years ago, and the phenomenon of their popularity further lasts with the undiminished intensity.

However, considering the definitions of our greatest authority in the theory of literature prof.dr. Muhsin Rizvic (that the nashids are the poems that glorify Allah and the casids are the poems about the prophet Muhammad) and a  different choice of the themes which in our practice are treated in those poems, it is rightly to include them in the spiritual poems.

By this their value  and importance are  not diminished, and avoiding of the mistakes, that is the sin.  Mrs Sadika Avdic, the main   chief editor of the  respected journal for family and society “Zehra” which has been published  in Sarajevo for five years now, has just gave us a collection of such poems, nine of them, and that many are necessary for modern perception of the serie of such verses in the form of CD:

If we  did get used to the poems of Junus Emre and Dzemaludin Latic, considering the fact that we have many new text writers and we feared for the quality of this specific poetry, the poems gathered under the common title “ Let me to Kewser” take away such fear and offer a new prospectuses of duration of this form of poetic-musical expression in the culture of the Bosniacs. A detailed   selection of the persons that the poems recite (Muhammad, Hatidza, Jusuf, Sulejman, Alija and Fatima) and the events(Kerbela) and the motives of the heaven’s source Kewser and an invetitable love of Lejla and Medznun, are justified with those verses.

It is more than grateful to dare  say with a few words  a lot about those large themes, but the lady author succeeded well in it. Apart from a particular atmosphere while listening, this CD  collection is offering those verses  written down.  When reading them, you can hear them as to convince yourself that it is the right thing. A real small masterpiece.

THE CLUB VID(values and society)

Within the organization Kewser the club VID (values and society) exists, and the pillar of the existence make:Amila Omersoftic, prof. Fatima Lačevic, Medhija Maglajlic, Amra Redzic in the cooperation with our other  Bosnian women, the intellectuals. The activities of this club are reflected in the stands and discussions on a large number of the themes which spring up from the reaction to the actual happenings in the society.

HUMANITARIAN SECTION

In September 2002, within the Women's educational organization Kewser,a humanitarian section was established, which, in the course of years  successfully performed many activities making a joy and returning a smile to those who needed it most.

Let us help to those who most need the help, is the basic motto  of this section.  The third day of the Eid, 17.12.2005, a group of our active members and children prepared a short and convenient programme for children who are alone and with no family, for the children the proteges of the Bjelave home. To those children, the Bjelave home is a mother and a brother and we ask kindly Allah to award all the employees of this home for their effort and such a nice relationship towards their proteges. On that occasion, children  were given 76 small parcels, which came  by the help of the company Ulker and pepsi colla and by the present of Mrs Zakira Ganibegovic, so may Allah bless them. 

The visit was organized to Nadza Dizdarevic, the wife whose husband was arrested and deported as the member of the Algerian group, and she stayed with four children with no income.

One of the following actions and visits   was to the sister whose husband was the Palestinian and was in Palestina, while she has been here, struggling with two children for survival. We also visited her sister who has the twelve years old son who is ill. The boy had so far three surgeries and she had to pay each of them. However, this lady is from Srebrenica, her husband was killed and she is to be  evicted from her flat.

The humanitarian activities of our association will be continued in the way that the aid will be gathered for some socially imperiled members, visit to the sick people and similar. During the month of Ramadan, we organized the evening meals in our premises and other appropriate gatherings.

Within the Association of each Ramadan, the evening religious meals  would be done not only for the members but also for the specific guests who fast.

EXCURSIONS AND SOCIALIZING

Each year in the summer months, the women’s non-governmental organization Kewser organized two excursions to some of the attractive destinations in our country. On that occasion we invite our active members as well as our  colleagues who participated in our manifestations, or who, in any way contributed to the work of our association, to join us.The excursions are meant for one day, but they are sufficient that the friends of Kewser get to know each other better and come closer, form a new friendships and  consolidate the old ones.

Our members use each occasion for pleasant talks and  the instructive lectures. Thus, the excursions become an excellent opportunity for the instructive quiz shows with the questions for various fields, from general culture, information, science, religion to the actual knowledge of work of the women’s organization Kewser and the magazine Zehra.

COURSES

The previous years  Kewser organized a lot of courses not only for its members but also for other citizens. The courses of informatics were organized on several occasions, the course of English language, Italian, Arabic, Moslem primary school  and for the adults.

SPEECHES/LECTURES

Since its existence, each Wedensday, Kewser organizes the lectures from SPIRITUALITY OF ISLAM for our women members and for  other participants. Those lectures are done on Monday in the premises of the Association, which became too small to  have all those  who are interested in.  We had the opportunity  and satisfaction  to be   the hosts to many  eminent speakers with their speeches on various Islamic themes.

SPEAKER’S PLATFORM

Within the activities of the Women’s Educational Organization “Kewser” are   the speakre’s platforms.

At the first Kewser’s platform which was held on 25.6.2001, mrs. Sabira Husedzinovic spoke on the theme “Importance and values of the mosques of the Ottoman period in keeping of the Bosnian identity”.

 Thus, later on, a large number of domestic and foreign speakers participated and they spoke about various actual issues.

Some of the speakers at our platforms were General Rasim Delic, writer Nedzad Ibrisimovic, hafiz Bugari, Midhat ef. Celebic, Palestinian ambassador, prof. Fatma Hasanbegovic, publicist Fatmir Alispahic and others.

TV ZEHRA

Women’s Educational Organization KEWSER for a year now is broadcasting the programme TV Zehra which is edited and presented by Miss Aida Kahriman. The programme has the collage character and is broadcasted on TV Vogosca, TV Igman, TV Cazin and TV Visoko every second week.  With this programme the Women’s Educational Organization Kewser intends to present to the public its activities and give its own contribution to the emancipation and  the involvement  of a muslim woman in the society.

The permanent columns in the programme are:

-news in Kewser where to the viewers we transfer a new events in  the Association which happened from the last broadcasting;

-the column about health within which mrs. Sadika  Avdic speaks about certain disorders and illnesses which can be treated with homeopathy and phytotherapy;

-within each  edition of TV Zehra in the studio we have  been the hosts to some interesting and outstanding guests.

For five years with you

WHY ZEHRA?

Our journal has the name Zehra since it is our desire that we link to the profile of ideal muslim woman, Fatima-ez-Zehra, who was not only  the mother and guardian of the family, but she also was the carrier  of faith. She was one of the first women socially engaged, the closest assistant of her father, the muslim leader and statesman, Muhammad and then of her husband, the imam Alija.  Further, the woman, the active participant of the social events a thousand and four hundred years ago, who is an excellent example for the engaged woman that we wish to see even today, by respecting the requirements of time   which are  today imposed  on a  muslim woman.

The main chief editor of “Zehra” is Sadika Avdic and her deputy is Elvira Velic-Muftic.

In the editorial office of “Zehra” the possibility of the intellectual expression had many of our emancipated and highly educated sisters  well-disposed to spiritual and  educated development. Among them are Sadzida Celebic, Nirha Efendic, Medhija Maglajlic, Sabina Strinic-Voloder and other sisters who gave their contribution in publishing a lot of interesting information  of rich publications of “Zehra”.

At present in the editorial office the flowing ladies write and research for you: Belkisa Muftic, Mewdiha Dyakmic, zehra Alickovic-Cesir, Maida Icanovic and Aida Kahriman and as the associates are Edina Kos-Buric, Medina Sofic-Jusic, Medhija Maglajlic, Nirha Efendic, Snjezana Alt-Balta, Sadzida Celebic, Senada Alic, Elvira Agovic ect.

In order to constantly advance its staff, since the beginning of the activities of this journal, we organize the seminars from the field of journalism and media in general.

As the  speakers at those seminars, there were the eminent personalities from the world of the written and electronic media, such as Indira Kucuk-Sorguc, Alisa Lekic-Mehicevic, Adnan Rondic, Edina Kamenica, Snjezana Mulic-Busatlija.

In June 2003, ten ladies journalists from the magazine Zehra attended the intensive course of journalism which was organized in the premises of the Kewser association.

The magazine “Zehra” in its content has the regular columns which make the base structure of each publication.

THEME OF THE EDITION

The column in which we present and research some vital problems which refer to the muslin woman and the society in general.

THE FACE FRAMED WITH THE SCARF

By which  the public becomes familiar with the sisters, the muslims who with  a dignified and praised way defend their healthy ambitions and with the own success ennoble and raise the scarf(hitdzab) at the level  at which the society did not give it. Every of those  valuable Bosnians is the only one pearl in the sequence of our cultural and religious wealth which “Zehra” decided to reveal and to present to its reading audience.

The success of the muslim woman we show through her PROFESSION and we prove that she is in the real sense of the word the pillar of this society, as we find it in nearly all the spheres of the social events. Here we  emphasize mainly successful women who proved that a healthy marriage and family are not the obstacle, but even more a good basis for the efficiency in the profession.

For all interesting life stories, for destinies which lead two people in love to the eternity , to Allah’s dear path, the path of marriage “Zehra” has kept the space in the column THE FAMILY INTERVIEW. The family is the basic unit of the society, although lately it is losing its right role in the society and it  is disappearing, we still find the whole sequence of examples which prove that every community whose aim is Allah’s contentment can last and be a bright example in the society.

LEAT US NOT TO FORGET THEM

In the past times of this country a poems devoted to mothers heroines and to their lost sons were written. At present time such deeds are not real. It became  a shame and to recall that some people existed and that they were murdered by the aggressor’s hand. The weeping mothers are almost forgotten and the role of their children was almost despised.

Only the pain of a mother remains  untroubled in the Universe. A lot of  hard pain bent over Bosnia. One day, such pain could  judge us all.

In Bosnia there are thousand of the persons(shadis) who died on Allah’s path. If the magazine “Zehra” would be published every day we would have the material to mention one name.  Since we are published every two months, our source unfortunately becomes the inexhaustible jar of the bitter drink that we have and wont to drink.

We have to, so that  we would inspire   and transfer to the generations  to come as not to forget the bloody and bitter way towards their happiness. It is a  modest contribution of “Zehra” in an effort to retain the memory to  the best, most courageous  sons of our Bosnia  soaked in blood. Only the drop in the Sea of the sorrow that flows through Bosnia.

ZEHRA’S PSYCHOLOGIST

It is a column in which the psychological experts for Zehra treat the problems that  torment almost every man. Those are at the first sight a small internal but the psycho-social problems neglected  and suppressed by an ordinary man    who does not pay them a lot of attention. For its readers “Zehra” researches and gives a possible solutions how in the  easiest and the least painful way such problems would be carried and finally how these problems would be overcame, in order to have most comfortable life and a  correct relation with its social environment. Most often, such problems are different kind of frustrations, conflicts of personal and social nature, different emotions which define our behaviour, skills, capabilities and really a large number of questions which , from the psychological point of view, are treated in this journal.

PROMOTIONS OF “ZEHRA”

Womens’ Educational organization Kewser periodically publishes the magazine Zehra to its regular readers and to those who are interested to become the ones, in different parts of our beautiful country.  On that occasion with the cooperation with the hosts, Kewser organizes the adequate programme with addressing of the main editor Mrs Sadika Avdic or deputy Elvira Velic-Muftic who talk to the readers about the magazine, its content and the purpose. With them are some of the journalists who write the individual columns.  The regular conferrer of our magazine is Mrs Amira Redzic, the teacher at the Medical Faculty and she is our long term associate.

Promotion of Zehra   gets  more beautiful with the chorus “Kewser” and with their  melodious performance of the nashids. Thus, Zehra in the periods of its existence had knocked at  the door of many towns all over Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The first and very successful promotion of “Zehra” was in Sarajevo in the hall of the Bosnian institute. In the hall filled to the last seat , the main editor Sadika Avdic, Amina Siljak.Jasenkovic, Fazileta Hafizoovic and professor Ismet Busatlic presented our magazine.

The following promotion was in the full hall of Preporod Zenica, then in Gracanica, Mostar and afterwards in the other  towns, with the  wonderful hosts. The magazine  Zehra  began to float and found its place in many homes and families all over Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The magazine ZEHRA was initiated in January 2001 and it is published every second month. The interest that is growing for this magazine ensures our ambition to have this magazine published every month.  The magazine Zehra  gives the interesting texts about the islamic upbringing and belief, medicine, literature, health and a proper nourishment. There are a vivid travel documentaries, incredible human destinies, comments to the actual   social-political and cultural events.

The main and responsible editor of “Zehra” is Sadika Avdic.

PROPHETS'S MUSK  2007

In every religion there is always one female person whom people greatly respect. Such position in Christianity has the Hazrat Merjem while in Islam , the position of proper, noble and worth of praise, with no doubt has

 the Hazrat Fatima.

The Prophet's ashab(friend) Huzejfa el-Jamani recalls:

" I heard the Prophet Muhammad s.a. when he said: The sent melech(angel) came to me and brought me the joyful news about it that Fatima was distinguished woman among the inhabitants of Džennet( heaven), but also the prominent woman among women of my Ummet".

The Hazrat Fatima eternally remained as a beautiful  ideal of the woman in Islam. Through each aspect of her life, this noble woman was spreading

 the example of the rightous judging and behaviour.

From the very beginning of its existance the women's organization Kewser organizes the religious-cultural programmes the symbol of rememberance on the Hazrat Fatima, the daughter, the precious child of the late Allah's Prophet Muhammad s.a.v.s.

Helding of the Musk began with the moderate programmes, in smaller premises with a little content. The first programme was organized in Zenica, then in Visoko so that the following ones were held in Sarajevo.

 With the years, these programmes became larger, of better quality, more widespread. The duration programme of two hours outgrew in the entire manifestation which lasted for eight days.

For number of years the manifestation the Prophet's musk in its content comprises:

-Evenings of culture

-Exhibition of the hand made and artistic   crafts "Golden hands of the Bosnian woman", set  in the Kurshumlia Madrasah and in the Hanikah GHM.

-Central cultural-religious programme which is held in the Olympic hall Zetra.

This year manifestation of the Prophet's Musk lasted from 01.September until 09. September.

FASHION SHOW

In the Youth hall Skenderija  with the start at 20.00 p.m. the fashion show of the hidjabs(scarfs) was held, when in  the subtle way we have presented to a wide audience the way of dressing  the hidjab(scarf) of the muslem woman believer.

The possibilities od combining of the clothing items were presented through  creative expression of the women designers from various parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Thus in this fashion show participated:

-Butik Tekbir, the fashion house from Trukey which, in our country  represents Mr. Emir Puškar,

- Association  of Sehara (special hand made case) from Travnik with models mainly made from natural fabrics with the  hand embroidered unique details,

-Fashion studio Taj with  about ten models of the hidjab(scarfs) for daily wearing,

-Semka Agić from Živinice presented a collection of dresses,

-Lena Gafić presented for our ambiance in a very interesting style, stylish women's trousers in combination with the adequate shirts and tunicas,

-Mrs. Mevlida from the Association Užok Kakanj who managed to transfer her painting skills  onto the cloth and made the creation from flax and special cotton material,

-Nadja Lipa-Pleh presented her  significant sense for creating and in such  a sensual way in her models this  designer linked the oriental style with

the modern one.

The participants Nedžla Kovačević, Aldijana Tuzlak and Kenan  Mačković with their exceptional performance of nashid (spiritual religious music) contributed to this lovely event.

For several years this fashion show of the hidjabs(scarfs) has been held within this manifestation.

This year, according to  the critics of the vistiors and the viewers, who watched this event on the TV stations, the fashion show has  attained really the high level and the hidjab(scarf) was presented to our society in  a dignified manner.  It was presented to the society which is still reasonably sceptical and closed , regarding the muslem women-believers and their way of dressing.

EXHIBITON OF THE GOLDEN HAND OF THE BOSNIAN WOMAN

For several years in the Kurshumliam madrasah within the manifestation the Prophet's Musk an exhibition of the hand made items-embroidery, knittings, fine embroidery, weaving which are characteristic for the area from which they come, levhas(religious texts) painting on silk.

This year the exhibiton was set on 31.09. and lasted until 10.09. and  was ment for sale.

Their works exposed:

U.G. Force of woman Zenica, U.G. Sehara Travnik, Sumejja Kakanj, Užok Kakanj, Centre for women Breza, Association of the listeners radio Naba, Association of the concentration camp men Sarajevo, Centre for women Breza.

By judging the enthusiasm of the vistiors at this exhibition who noted their impressions in the book of impressions, the conclusion was that they were from various parts of BiH and also a foreing citizens.

„We parise all those who participated in this exhibition. Let Allah unite you around all good deeds such as this exhibition of the Bosnian manual works“, one madame from Linc, Austria wrote.

„The art of hard working hands of our women is known all over the world, thus the tourists will always come to get inspired by this beauty“- Sadik T. From Tuzla.

The initiative that Kewser initiated through this exhibition is linked first of all with the intention that the wealth which Bosnia and Herzegovina carries in its old case must not fall into oblivion. All the efforts and love that our old grand-mothers interwove in those works, the beauty of the past days, mistery of the girls's rooms and all the innocence hidden behind the wooden  window-grille. The white handkerchief made of fin cloth decorated

 with the  colourful embroidery, is not just any handkerchief but the symbol of the innocence and longing by which  a girl  puerly gives her youth to her berloved. Therefore, these hand crafts  are not only the material wealth of our country, but the cultural and the spiritual which we, at least, ought to  preserve and to pass to the future generations.

EVENINGS OF CULTURES

-Evening of Kur'an

The following evening, on 02.09. in the Hanikah GHM the evening of Kur'an was held. For several years within the manifestation of the Prophet's Musk, the evening of reading of Kur'an was held, when the present had the honour to hear readings of our excellent readers of this Divine word. 

To master the Arabic letter is  the task of all believers for the purpose of performing ibadet, learning of Kur'an.  However, when the excellent  readers read IT with their soft voices, even those who are not the believers cannot remain indifferent, and for the believers the satisfaction is enormous.

In this evening with their reading of Kur'an we were honoured by

the brothers Kubat, Muhamed and Mustafa.

At the European competition of the readers of Kur'an 2001, Muhammad gained the first place and after that he went to Saudi Arabia where he attended the Institute for Arabic language and culture at the University of

 the king Saud in Riyad.   It is special feeling which permeate the body when Muhammad began to read the Kur'an.

Although younger,  Mustafa is not less successful. Second place at the Balcan's competition of the learners of Kur'an held in Sarajevo 2005,  was the crown of his present work and effort.

Melodious reading and a lovely voice   would not leave indifferent anyone   who was present.

Their sister Amina only contributed to this event and framed the picture about this particular family.

Hafiz Armin Vlaičić also red the passage from Kur'an.  He is at present muhafiz in the school of hifz (memorizing of Kur'an) with hafiz Dzihan Bukvic. His wife Mahira learns the hifz in the same school and she honoured us with her reading.

-A particular attention drew the young hafiz Haris Corbo who is only 13 amd Muhamed Memisevic who is 12, and who finished the hifz also in

the school of hifz before the hafiz Dzihan Bukvic, who accepts the beginners from the age of  7.

Mrs Hadzi Razija finished by reciting of the paragraph  with her beautiful voice and with the melodious performing of nashids. It was indeed a special evening with its rich content which all the present visitors could hear and take it with themselves.

ROUND TABLE

03. September  also in the Hanikah GHM  the  round table was held on the theme "Hazrat Fatima in the context of our time". This evening  was organized by the CLUB Sight (Klub vid) which  acts within our organization and their participation took Mrs Suada Kočo from Sumejja, Mujesira Zimić and Zehra Alispahić from the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Sehija Dedović from the Association Nahla.

At the beginning as the host, our president Sadika Avdic made a brief introduction about the theme. Mrs Sadika talked abpout the Hazrat Fatima, noble, sincere, glistening but first of all about the woman who devotedly followed God's principles. „Although the time in which we live is difficult and complex, I believe that the Hazrat Fatima would remain consistent of those principles, which are interwoven in the human being of every man, it is only the question who is aware of it. The only rightous way in any time is actually the way of following the God's principles“- Mrs Sadika said before announcing her ladies guests- the speakers.

The first to address the aduience was Mrs. Sehija Dedović from the organization Nahla who in her speech stressed the persistence, justice and struggle for the own attitude by the Hazrat Fatima. „ Her agile discussion which she had with Ebu Bekr regarding the inheritence of the Prophet's deed, proves that she was a woman of attitude and that she fought for the right that belonged to her“, Mrs Sehija added.Her reluctance related to the decision of Ebu Bekr that noone would succeed the God 's Prophet,

 the Hazrat Fatima at   first expressed through the poems, then with the argumentative discussion with Ebu Bekr, staying with her  principle until her death.

Zehra Alishpahic again talked about the period in which the Hazrat Fatima was born and about the way in which the God' s Prophet accepted her.

„The Hazrat Fatima was born at the time when the birth of  a female child would cause sadness and anger, so a man without  the sons would be seen as the ceased man. With the arrival of the Hazrat Fatima, a woman became an important part of the events in the history of Islam. For her it was said that she resembled the Prophet in her body and behaviour- Mrs Zehra said.

The Hazrat Fatima grew up and developed in the way that the mission of

 the Prophet did. She was the youngest but the dearest daughter of the God's Prophet.

„In that time and in that environment the relation that had the Prophet and his dearest daughter was the warning to  leaders and the tribe chiefs  about the significance of Fatima, it was the message to their people to   set free of historical customs and tradition, but also the message to a woman to get released from humility and dependence“- Mrs Zehra finished.

Mujesira Zimić in her addressing through the examples pointed to several moments of up bringing from the life of the Hazrat Fatima.

-The fisrt  essential moment is the relation father-daughter which in its essence points not only to that relation but it gives the importance to a woman and removes allo the heavy burden that women carried at that time.

Way of choosing the spouse

The Hazrat Fatima rejected many rich and prominent men who asked her to marry them and she chose H. Alija who only had the sword and the shilt. She showed to the values which are important when choosing the marital spouse. These values, besides the material ones which are not important in the least, first of all moral features, knowledge of Islam and readiness to

 the Islamic tolerance and the marital life.

Mrs Mujesira in indicating to rightousness and equality which the Hazrat Fatima inherited from her father, constantly emphasized, gave the example when a distinguished girl stole something so the influential people of that society took her side to safe her from punishment that followed. The God's Prophet rejected them, pointing out that if his Fatima would steal something her hand would be chopped off.

Mrs Suada Kočo spoke of the virtues of the Hazrat Fatima, her decency and nobility, her devotion.

Character and moral values of this special woman were described in the verses:

„All the virtues which I did not have, the Hazrat Fatima had.

She was pure like the source in the nature, she was gentle like the moon in the dawn.

Let the Janat's  ( heavens')door  be opened where our beolved Prophet is waiting.

Such was the Hazrat Fatima, her goodness glittered in her eyes.

In continuation, she spoke about up bringing where she emphasized:

„ It is necessary to take care about up bringing before a child is born. Father and mother should be politely brought up in Islam so that their children would be in Islam“.

This evening in rememberance to the Hazrat Fatima, many  instructive and important moments from a short life of this noble woman, our president Sadika Avdic closed with the words:

There is the story that those who would be  on the source Kewser and who would drink from the source Hawd, would hear the voice: „ Bow your sights, Fatima , the daughter of Muhammed is coming“.

That  means that they will not be able to look in the shine of Fatima“- Mrs Sadika added.  Therefore, we ask Allah to gift us  some of her gliterness and that Allah makes us of those who will be at that source.

And in this world to make us aware that we can receive that message“.

EVENING OF THE SUFI NASHIDS

04. September within the evening of culture,  the evening of the sufi nashids was held, when  with its excellent interpreting, the choir Ak -saray with its first album „Bir Allah“ presented  itself.

 Tradition of the choir lasts about ten years and the members of the same are the imams of Madjlis of the Islamic Community Kakanj, who give their contribution so that the original version of the nashids as the spiritual songs would be preserved and  pulled from oblivion.

Besides the choir Ak-saray, the present could hear a small Amina Kubat,

 the pupil of seventh class of the primary school Gazaz „Al-Walidejn“.

 Next to the fact that she lovely recites  the nashids, Amina is the winner of the Balkan's competition of the learners of Kur'an which was held in 2005 in Sarajevo. At the Cantonal competition from the Arabic language, she wan the second place and the first at the mectab level. However, we can freely say that Amina is really a wonderful child and that her mother can be proud of her.

Prijedor is the town which has a lot of unpleasant and difficult memories from the previous war and it is hard that the wounds will ever heal.

But inspite of the wounds, a large number of Bosnians returned to their home places and it continues to live and work. The young people in this town established their association the Youth Centre Hambarine  and within it they have various activities in order to held together and  so that they could be a support to each other.

Within this associastion a small choir of girls and boys is active and they mainly interpret the nashids and the original Bosnian  songs. There is still a lot of work before them, so we made enough space for them to show us what they are capable off.

EVENING OF PROSE AND POETRY

Yet another socializing in the row of cultural evenings, a chain of  pearls that we  strang up this year necklace of the manifestation of the Prophet's Musk was also the evening of prose and  poetry. The hostess of this evening, Mrs Mediha Dzakmic opened the programmes with the suited  prayer to Allah to bless this gathering and that we would leave  it enriched for some new horizons and recognitions and that on the Judgment day this night would be on the scale of good deeds. Then, she presented her guests and their deeds:

Merima Murtic and her poem „Verse of Bosnian truth“, the poems that talk about suffering of our Bosnian nation in the last aggression.

-Seca Sejfic wrote the poems mainly devoted to nature and natural phenomena which are not yet gathered in one collection.

-Mirzeta Cuncur who presented her poems gathered in the collection „My work“.

-Mrs Senka Beslic translates stories for children from the Arabic and Persian language, who until present translated five books.

Pleasant talk of Mrs. Mediha with her guests was filled with reciting of the poems  from the mentioned collections by the girl Esma Djakmic and by the student Dzenana Murtic.

The   lovers  of poetry of prose took a lot of agreable and beautiful emotions from this evening.

CENTRAL EVENING

Central night in Zetra in the real sense of that word was the  crown of this year manifestation. The rain was the faithful follower of the previous night, probably the reason why there was a smaller audience than the previous nights. However, on 08.10 when the central manifestation was held, the clouds over Sarajevo fall down like never before. Although the rain was pouring the whole day, the Olympic beauty Zetra was almost full, above our expectations.

The beginning of the programme was indicated by   reading of the prayer El-Kewser in the performance of hafiz  Senad Podojak, and the ajet(paragraph) about  devotion and love, expresses the welcome to the selected month- a month of fast, humility, purity and testings.

When the God's word echoed there was the silence in Zetra. The glittering faces of the present, expressed the pleasure that radiated and  was enveloping over the entire Zetra.

Since it is already the tradition at this manifestation, right after  Kur'an a recognizible nashid „ I Fatimet ez-Zehra“ in the performance of Nezla Kovacevic, the solo- peformer of the choir Kewser went.

A welcome to all present was wished by the  stage pair Aida Kahriman and Adnan Rondic, who announced further course of the programme.

 At  the lovely stage, which with its youthfull spirituality and beautiful smiles, the boys and the girls of the choirs Kewser, Bedem and Sejfulah  decorated, one by  the the other followed the solo-performers.

The ensamble „ Breath of love“ with its specific emotions and with a full interpreting of the spiritual music, completed with the vocal abilities of the soloist Latifa Mocevic,  many from the audience were brought to tears.

 The song Nizam's separation and the Pearl's tear, which was performed by this ensamble,  has laft noone indifferent.

As a special surprise, for our ambiance a specific artistic performance, a Macedonian musical group Semazen perfomed for the present audience.

Accompanied with the oriental instruments, the nay and kanun, with their beautiful soloist Sema, with its presence and performance she conjured up that oriental spirit to which the audience did not hide the exaltation.

In continuation of the programme, there followed the nashids, one  more melodious from the other, in the performance of the mentioned choirs and their soloists  accompnaied by the Sarajevo philharmonic orcestra headed by the conductor Samra Bucan. Among the visitors there was a visible satisfaction and  exaltation by the performed programme.

A special charm to this programme gave a dua which was prayed in the house of God's Prophet Muhammed s.a.v.s. which was excellently recited by the actress Selma Alishpahic.

Whenever we hear the nashid „tears, tears pour out“, the   feable heart and taken with the sadness  cried out  for repentance. And if  it was performed with the melodious and pleasant voice of Mensura Bajraktarevic, noone's soul remained indifferent.

The youthful spirit and the mood of the choir „Hazreti Hamza“ created   among the audience the joy and thrill, particularly the presence of hafiz Saban Burhan and his recognazible inrepretation of the nashids.

With the enthusiasm of all present in Zetra, Zejd Soto, the soloist of the choir Sejfullah recited  the well known nashid Muallim. The stage organizers  gave the final wording about the programme, and all  the performers came to the stage and with the performance of the nashid

 „ I Fatimetu ez-Zehra“ closed this year manifestation.

Thus,  the organization Kewser for the twelvth time with the appropriate and dignified programme marked the rememberance on  the noble woman in Islam, Fatimeta ez-Zehra, but it officially opened the door for a long waited guest, to the month of Ramadan.

After the programme, the guests and the performers had a small snack in  the VIP reception-room of the Olympic hall Zetra.

We used that opportunity to take the statements of some of the visitors to find out what was the impression of this year manifestation of the Prophet's Musk.

The mayor of the city of Sarajevo Mrs Semiha Borovac at our question about the impressions that she took with her, she replied:

„For quiet some time I was not present at such  dignified and so lovely cultural  manifestation which was organized  in this region. I am glad to see that you, the members of the Kewser association, with its work and persistence managed to approach  to our youth and citizens,the nashids, our faith and tradition in such particular way. Here, I came at your invitaion and I shall come again in the future. I  wish you all the best in your future work“.
